Welcoming ERS Energy:
Powering Three New Solar Sites with SolarNest
We are thrilled to announce that ERS Energy Sdn Bhd, a leading Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) provider, is officially onboarding SolarNest to manage three of their upcoming solar sites. This collaboration marks an exciting step forward in optimizing solar asset management and ensuring peak operational efficiency for new renewable energy deployments.
As a 100% homegrown Malaysian company, ERS Energy brings unparalleled engineering expertise in solar PV EPCC, energy storage solutions, and large-scale solar development. Their strict commitment to quality, environment, and occupational health is backed by ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications. With a strong track record and an ambitious goal to expand their installed capacity to over 3GW by 2028, ERS Energy is a remarkably reliable and forward-thinking partner.
Empowering Operations with Meteoblue & TNB GSO Integration
Precise environmental data is the foundation of efficient solar plant management. While the full SolarNest suite offers comprehensive SCADA and security monitoring, ERS Energy is kickstarting their SolarNest journey by deploying two highly critical operational modules: Meteoblue forecasting and TNB GSO Web Service integration.
By adopting these tools for their three new sites, ERS Energy’s team will benefit from:
Precision Yield Forecasting: High-resolution solar irradiance forecasts allow operations teams to accurately predict energy generation, helping set reliable baselines for daily plant performance.
Seamless Regulatory Compliance: In Malaysia, large-scale solar farms are required to submit accurate power generation forecasts to the Grid System Operator (GSO). SolarNest acts as the bridge, automatically feeding Meteoblue’s weather data directly into the TNB GSO Web Service. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures strict compliance with grid scheduling requirements.
Proactive Operations and Maintenance (O&M): By anticipating cloud cover, severe weather events, and changing environmental conditions, site managers can schedule maintenance—like panel cleaning—at the most optimal times to minimize yield loss.
Looking Ahead to a Bright Future
Collaborating with a visionary and trusted company like ERS Energy aligns perfectly with our core mission: to make solar plant management smarter, more efficient, and effortlessly compliant. We are incredibly proud to support their team with high-precision forecasting and grid integration tools for these three new sites.
We look forward to a successful partnership and the potential to further integrate SolarNest’s capabilities as their operational needs continue to grow.
