Q1 2026 Update:
New 280MW of New Solar
Projects & Bringing AI
Cameras to the Field
Time flies when you’re busy! We’re already wrapping up the first quarter of 2026 here at TCS Automation & Security Sdn Bhd, and we wanted to take a quick pause to share what we’ve been working on.
It’s been a truly humbling and exciting start to the year. We are incredibly grateful for the trust our partners continue to place in us to help run their renewable energy infrastructure smoothly and securely.
Here is a quick look at our latest milestones and a new technology partnership we are bringing to the table.
Powering 280MW of New Solar Operations with SolarNest
So far this year, our team has been hard at work deploying our in-house solar plant management software, SolarNest, across four major new sites. All in total, we’ve added about 280MW of new capacity to our monitoring systems in just the first few months of the year!
We are currently working alongside the fantastic teams at:
- Dayasinar (40MW)
- Solarescape (40MW)
- Perak (99MW)
- Philippines (99MW)
Our goal has always been to make life easier for the people running these massive facilities. By bringing SolarNest to these sites, we get to help them streamline their Large Scale Solar (LSS) asset monitoring, keep track of daily operations, and maintain strict compliance with local grid regulations without the usual headaches.
Bringing AI to the Field: Our New Verkada Integration
In addition to our software rollouts, we have some great hardware news. We are officially partnering and integrating with Verkada, bringing their cutting-edge AI security cameras directly into our solar management ecosystem.
If you manage a large-scale solar farm, you already know the challenge: these sites cover massive, often remote areas that are incredibly tough to secure and monitor. Integrating Verkada’s AI-based cameras with our systems changes the game for plant management.
Here is why we are so excited about this integration:
- Smart Alerts (Fewer False Alarms): Verkada’s AI is smart enough to know the difference between a genuine security anomaly and a stray animal walking by the fence. This means site managers only get alerted when it actually matters.
- Instant Visual Proof: When tied into our broader monitoring and SCADA systems, these cameras give you eyes on the ground instantly. If an equipment alert goes off, you can pull up the camera feed to see exactly what is happening before spending the time and money to dispatch a technician.
- Everything in One Place: Plant managers can now look at physical security and operational data on the same unified platform, making the whole site safer and easier to manage.
We are so looking forward to seeing what the rest of 2026 brings, and we remain dedicated to building the best possible tools for the solar industry. A massive thank you to our hardworking team, our partners, and our clients for an unforgettable first quarter.
